Professional Education Faculty: Committee Structure
Standards and Accreditation Committee (Members serve 2-year terms)
Each department in the College of Education shall choose one member for each committee on which the department wishes to be represented. There must be at least four members chosen from within the College of Education. The Professional Education Council, in consultation with the Executive Committee, shall select members from the College of Arts and Sciences. In addition to its faculty members, each committee (except the Executive Committee and the Content Knowledge Committee) shall invite as voting members one undergraduate and one graduate student selected in a manner determined by the committee. Each committee may also invite representatives from the Dean’s Office of the College of Education and the College of Arts and Sciences to serve as ex officio members without voting privileges. (Members serve 2-year terms) In addition to the six standing committees, there are currently two ad hoc committees.
